*This post contains a collaboration with NET-A-PORTER and loaned products.
You know when you order something online and it arrives and you LOVE EVERYTHING? This blog post is one of those moments. I spent, honestly, HOURS on the NET-A-PORTER website* I have made three outfits that have really caught my eye and in which I have used a lot of knitwear that I find very useful now that it is starting to get cold. I love them. It is difficult to choose a favourite of the three, but there is one that takes the cake: fairAnd if you’re just window shopping right now, I’ve added a few outfit formulas for you to write down the next time you’re in front of your closet and have no idea where to start. Here are some ideas…
OUTFIT ONE
What’s cozier than knits, on knits, on knits? Knitted T-shirt + knitted trousers + cashmere jumper + cashmere jacket + Mary-JanesIt doesn’t get much cozier than that. Throwing this on felt like the perfect outfit for the weekend, for brunch, or just hanging out with friends. It’s so comfortable, yet so chic. The structured jacket and shoes are what take it to the next level. This was my first time trying Guest in Residence, a brand new to NET-A-PORTER, and I currently have both items in my basket, so yes, I’m a fan! Oversized cashmere sweater* it felt like real butter, and the Quilted cashmere jacket* It was something I hadn’t seen before – half cardigan, half jacket, and a layering piece that I think would come in handy during the winter months. All beautifully crafted and 100% cashmere.

OUTFIT TWO
Let’s say you have a day where you’re a bit “here, there and everywhere” – here’s what I would recommend. For me, it’s a meeting day in London. I only have to walk a little to get to the train and before you know it, I’m in the tropical climate aka the tube. And I actually walk very little outside as I’m between the tube and meeting places all day and usually walk pretty quickly to get from one place to another. You know, I’m bundled up! And carrying all the extra layers with you as you take them off isn’t the best! So for those days I would recommend: A sleeveless sweater + a mid-weight coat + straight-leg jeans + pointy bootsYour arms are covered, but once you reach your destination, you’ll be able to cool off without melting. I’m looking forward to talking about it. AGOLDE 90s High Waisted Long Jeans*. They have an ideal length to wear with boots and have that… Khaite Danielle Jean* I feel very comfortable, but personally I find the AGOLDE shape more comfortable. Speaking of comfort, the Toteme mid-heel boots*?! I walked 20,000 steps in them in NYC and even though I was really excited to take them off at the end of the day, I didn’t even notice a blister. They’re so good.

OUTFIT THREE
This might be my favorite outfit of the three, but this one is really versatile. The wide-leg jeans with pointy boots have a very chic silhouette, and the turtleneck serves the practical function of keeping you warm. Chunky turtleneck sweater + belt + wide leg jeans + pointed toe boots – is a formula to add to your repertoire immediately. I was looking for a pair of jeans with a cuff that would be suitable for my 1.70m figure and these are he. He AGOLDE women’s jeans* They sit nice and high on the waist and not too baggy in the back. I recommend going one or two sizes smaller than your usual size depending on where you want them to sit on your hips (for a lower rise, go one size down, or for a higher rise, go two sizes down). Can we take a second to Toteme bag with T-shaped closure*!? It has easily accommodated all the outfits I put together for this event and is large enough to be practical for everyday use without being unwieldy. I am very, very tempted to make a purchase.
