Why is it important to teach media literacy?
Students need to be able to make smart choices online, both at home and in the classroom. Educating students about the dangers that can arise online, proper internet use, and tools to keep them safe will help create confident and informed children in today’s classrooms. The internet is a very powerful tool and the first step to taking advantage of it is making sure children know how to safely and appropriately navigate the digital world.
