8. Never eat on the run
Nowadays, eating on the run has become the norm. However, it is very important to eat while sitting and slowly. When you sit down to eat, you help the body relax by allowing the digestive process to begin easily. When you eat while standing or running, the digestion process requires a lot of energy. Therefore, always try to eat while sitting, even snacking.
9. Eat at about the same time every day
The body is an amazing yet delicate chronometer. Its adjustment to the natural rhythms of nature is one of the main goals of Ayurveda. It is no coincidence that lunchtime coincides with noon: the sun is at its zenith, and Agni is at its peak. By eating according to the rhythms of nature, you can maintain your fundamental constitution. Regular meals at the same time are a guarantee that you will not be deprived of energy throughout the day. Plus, it’s a great way to control certain food cravings and avoid overeating.
10. Rest for a few minutes after eating.
